♥ FOOD!
I love baking. And when I'm stressed, I bake. And play the piano, but that's not what this post is about. During finals week, I baked cinnamon rolls. Oh so yummy and oh so fattening. I'm going to have to double the ab workouts I have been doing.
Gah, thinking back on finals, this past week took FOREVER. Wow. So much happened in one week. Actually I'm having a hard time believing all that took place in one week. Four finals, baking, riding lesson, equestrian team workout, meeting potential apartment roommates, working, all day CPR/first aid class, and a christmas party at the barn. Whew. No wonder I'm exhausted.
I still don't feel like school is over. So many times today I caught myself worrying about what homework I was forgetting. Silly me, I don't have classes tomorrow. And on the thought of classes, please pray for me. I'm trying not to think about my messed up schedule until January 5th. Pray that I can get this fixed. And pray that they accept my art portfolio. I will be really screwed if they don't.
Right. I'm not thinking about that.
Mmmmmmm cinnamon rolls. These will definitely be going on my bakery menu.

My grades were good this semester. I do wish my french grade had been A though. I'm not too happy about that. But with an A, two B's, and one C, I would say that's not too bad. My parents were happy. I get to live in an apartment in Kennesaw.
Everyone keeps saying that finals are done and the stress is over untill next semester. Not for me. I'm still stressing. And I will be until January 5th. That's when I can register for classes. Of the four classes I'm registered for next semester, none of them will count. The will just be extra credit hours that I don't need. I finished my core. I'm still waiting to hear back on my art portfolio. I pray it will be accepted. If not, I will be so behind. And an entire semester at Southern will have been a waste. Kind of like this semester. Two of the classes I took (one being the C) will not count for anything.
I hate that.
I hate waiting in this uncertainty. This christmas break is going to suck. I can't wait for January 5th. I should feel happy right now but I can't. I'm teetering on the edge. One little breath of air could send me in either direction.
But maybe because of my grades my parents will finally buy my plane ticket. Because I won't truely be going to England until that happens.

♥ this is the time to smile, i can't fake it
Finals are this week. I have two on monday and two on wednedsay. Nice and even. Wednesday will be the harder day. I would love to be able to say that after wednesday the stress will be over, but that would be a lie. I am waiting to hear back on my art portfolio that I submitted last week. God I pray that I will know by the end of the week and that it will be good news!
I have been so busy with wrapping up this semester at school and have not taken any photos. I have worn some cute outfits too! However, I have some photos from a few weeks ago...
Just a random outfit I threw together. Dunno if I would ever wear it in public.
I had a little fun with these ;)
My eyes were red in this one and so I played around in photoshop forever trying to fix it. I finally decided to use an action set because I cold not make my eyes look right!
And now I must study some more. My eyes are going to fall out from staring at books and computers all day!

♥ thanksgiving = family. wait, no. thanksgiving = work. boo.
I had to work Thanksgiving morning. I have an easy job with interesting/strange/entertaining people. Unfortunately this job requires that we work ALL holidays. So I will be working Christmas day as well. Someone has to look after all the dogs :)
I got my cousin to snap this picture shortly after I finally made it to my grandparents. The skirt is made from a dress I cut up. The dress was really cute but did not fit my chest area. So I chopped off the top of it. It's much better as a skirt :)
The belt is from my mom. It lost it's elasticity so I had to pin the back. I'm hoping to fix it when I get some free time. Maybe next summer?
On Black Friday I went shopping for a few hours before work. I threw on a pair of black tights, jean shorts, tucked in t-shirt, awesome colorful belt, and chunky gray sweater with gray boots. My mom and sisters all asked me (seperately) what I was wearing and if I had dressed in the dark. They did not understand the tights under shorts. Hello! How else are you going to wear shorts in the winter?? And they are the ones lecturing ME about wasting money. Right.
My best friend got engaged over Thanksgiving (congrats!). Even though I knew this would happen in the near future it's still weird. I cannot believe we are this old. Having known each other since kindergarten....we used to write stories about what high school would be like and here we are in college and all grown up! I am excited for her but I am also jealous. My best friend is engaged and I am not even in a relationship. My mother of course told my entire family which only makes them annoy me further about being single. Ever since I was deemed old enough to be 'dateable' my aunts have plagued me with questions on my love life. Considering it has been pretty non-existent they have been disappointed. I am so tired of that.
Oh well, I need to go pick out an outfit for tomorrow since I have to get up ridiculously early. Pray, pray, pray that the art department accepts my portfolio! Lord knows what the hell I am going to do if they do not.

♥ ah! paleness....
I am so pale. If I had the pretty porcelian skin it would be alright. But no, I'm just pale with a bit of red. Ulgh.
I was inspired coming out of the shower when I saw this paisley print. I immeadiatly threw this outfit together and had to go take pictures. No makeup and wet hair. They still turned out pretty good :)
This is a tanktop that I turned into a skirt. I like it much better as a skirt.
Can you see the necklace? I need to get a good closeup of it, it's adorable. A little owl :)

I went shopping with my sister on Tuesday. The weather was disgusting. Rainy, windy, gross. But I bought two purses for eight dollars and a new pair of tights. Yay!
Unfortunately my phone's camera is not that great so you can't see the shoes.
I love the lining of this purse. And for five dollars it was perfect. You should see this popping up in more outfits.
An outtake from my 'photoshoot' this morning. It is really difficult to take jumping pictures when using a self timer :)
I changed my major. Keep your finger's crossed!
